Interactive Installation

The Whistling Tree is an interactive sound installation developed for the Circles of Universal Language exhibition at Dutch Design Week 2024, in collaboration with the City of Eindhoven, Dutch Invertuals, and EDHV.

The installation captures and replays whistles made by visitors, layering them into a shared soundscape. Inspired by the collective experience of birdsong, it transforms individual interactions into a continuous, evolving auditory environment.

By allowing participants to contribute their own sounds, the work creates a sense of connection across time and space, bringing people together through a simple and playful interaction.
