Photography and Book Design
A surrealist recipe book exploring how subtle disruptions can transform everyday routines. Presented in an A2 format, the project combines familiar kitchen scenes with unexpected elements to challenge perceptions of normality in contemporary culinary habits.
Inspired by the concept of dépaysement and the works of René Magritte, the project recontextualizes ordinary objects to create moments of quiet absurdity within a recognisable breakfast setting.
All photographs were self-directed and produced, using photography as a medium to reinterpret Surrealism through a contemporary lens.
